    Bible verses about sin.

The Bible addresses the concept of sin extensively, emphasizing its nature, consequences, and the path to redemption. Here are some key verses that highlight the biblical stance on sin:

    1. Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

    2. 1 John 1:8-9: “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

    3. Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

    4. James 4:17: “If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.”

    5. Galatians 5:19-21: “The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

The Bible teaches that sin separates humanity from God, but it also offers a path to forgiveness and reconciliation through Jesus Christ. Confession, repentance, and faith are central to overcoming sin and receiving God’s grace.
