Events

Bible verses about events.

The following are five Bible verses that discuss events and their significance in God’s plan:

Ecclesiastes 3:1: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”

This verse emphasizes that every event in life has its appointed time, highlighting God’s sovereignty over all occurrences.

Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

This assures us that God orchestrates all events for the ultimate good of those who love Him, even when we don’t understand His plans.

Proverbs 16:9: “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”

This verse reminds us that while we may make our own plans, it is ultimately God who directs our paths and the events in our lives.

Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

God reassures us that He has a purposeful plan for our lives, filled with hope and a future, even through challenging events.

Isaiah 55:8-9: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

This passage highlights that God’s understanding and plans are far beyond our own, encouraging us to trust in His divine wisdom.

These verses collectively illustrate that events in our lives are part of God’s greater plan, and He uses them to fulfill His purposes. Trusting in God’s timing and wisdom can help us navigate life’s uncertainties with faith and patience.
