As humans, we all go through experiences that can hurt us deeply. Whether it is a betrayal from a friend or loved one, the loss of a job or a loved one, or a personal disappointment. In this blog post, we will look at 10 Bible verses about letting go of hurts.

Philippians 3:13-14 – “Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. He encourages us not to get weighed down by past hurts but to focus on the prize ahead.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 – “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” When we are weak, God is strong. He will give us the strength to overcome our hurts and difficulties.

Colossians 3:13 – “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” Forgiveness is key to letting go of hurts. We must forgive others as Christ forgave us.
