    Bible verses about preaching.

As Christians, we are called to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through preaching. Preaching is not just reserved for pastors and ministers; it is something that all of us can do in our everyday lives. However, preaching can be a challenging task, and it can be helpful to look to the Bible for guidance. In this blog post, we will explore ten Bible verses about preaching that can guide us on our journey.

    Romans 10:14-15

    • "How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!'"

    • This verse reminds us of the importance of preaching and sharing the gospel. It also emphasizes that preaching is something that we are called to do as believers.

    Matthew 28:19-20

    • "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

    • In these verses, Jesus Christ gives a clear command to all of his followers: to go and make disciples of all nations. This command includes preaching and sharing the gospel with those who do not yet know him.

    1 Corinthians 1:23

    • "But we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles."

    • This verse reminds us that the message of the gospel can be challenging and even offensive to some people. However, we are still called to preach Christ crucified, even if it is not popular or widely accepted.

    2 Timothy 4:2

    • "Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching."

    • This verse reminds us of the importance of being prepared to preach at any time and in any circumstance. It also reminds us that there may be times when we need to reprove or rebuke others in love.

    Mark 16:15

    • "And he said to them, 'Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.'"

    • This verse echoes Jesus' command in Matthew 28:19-20, reminding us that we are called to go out into the world and proclaim the gospel to everyone we meet.

    Acts 2:38

    • "And Peter said to them, 'Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'"

    • In this verse, Peter is preaching to a crowd of people who are gathered together. He is urging them to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. This verse reminds us that preaching often happens in groups and can be very effective.

    Proverbs 25:11

    • "A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver."

    • This verse reminds us of the power of words. When we preach the gospel, we are using our words to convey a powerful message. If we use our words wisely and with care, they can have a profound impact on those who hear them.

    Acts 17:22-23

    • "So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: 'Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious. For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription, ‘To the unknown god.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you.'"

    • In this passage, Paul is preaching to a group of people who are not familiar with Christianity. He uses their own culture and experiences to explain the gospel message to them. This verse reminds us that when we are preaching, it is important to meet people where they are and use language and examples that they can understand.

    Ephesians 4:11-12

    • "And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ."

    • This verse reminds us that preaching is not just about spreading the gospel; it is also about equipping and building up the body of Christ. When we preach, we are helping to strengthen the faith of other believers.

    Isaiah 40:9

    • "Go on up to a high mountain, O Zion, herald of good news; lift up your voice with strength, O Jerusalem, herald of good news; lift it up, fear not; say to the cities of Judah, 'Behold your God!'"

    • This verse reminds us that preaching is a bold and courageous act. It encourages us to lift up our voices with strength and proclaim the good news to all who will listen.

Preaching is an important part of the Christian life, and there are many Bible verses that can guide us on our journey. Whether we are speaking to a group of people or simply sharing the gospel with a friend, these verses can inspire us to be bold and courageous as we spread the message of Christ. Let us take these verses to heart and boldly proclaim the good news to all those around us.
