    Bible verses about truth.

The Bible places a strong emphasis on truth, both in terms of God’s nature and how believers should live. Here are some key verses about truth and their meanings:

    1. John 14:6

Verse: “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”

Meaning: Jesus declares Himself as the embodiment of truth, the only path to God the Father.

    2. John 8:31-32

Verse: “To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’”

Meaning: Jesus emphasizes that true freedom comes from knowing and living by His teachings.

    3. John 17:17

Verse: “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.”

Meaning: Jesus prays for His disciples, asking God to sanctify them through His truth, which is found in His Word.

    4. Psalm 25:5

Verse: “Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”

Meaning: The psalmist seeks God’s guidance and teaching, recognizing that true hope and salvation come from Him.

    5. Ephesians 4:15

Verse: “Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.”

Meaning: Paul encourages believers to speak the truth lovingly, which leads to spiritual growth and maturity in Christ.

    6. 1 John 3:18

Verse: “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

Meaning: John emphasizes that true love is demonstrated through actions and living truthfully.

These verses collectively highlight the importance of truth in the Christian faith, both in understanding God’s nature and in guiding believers’ actions and relationships.
